Since our incorporation in 1998, UTRACON Structural Systems has been growing steadily in size and stature, achieving multiple firsts in the local construction industry in terms of engineering innovations and construction methods.

We are the first local specialist to have ever designed and constructed an egg shaped digester fully through in house resources, a feat that is not likely to be matched even by any other international contractors. We also "invented" the new helical method of fiber reinforced plastic wrap, enabling the strenghtening of stub beam and column interface. Through innovative engineering, we introduced for the first time a grouting technique that enabled the simultaneous concreting and grouting of prefound column (found in top down construction), which effectively eliminates air pockets formed between newly cast and existing columns.

UTRACON is one of the largest prestressed contractors in Singapore, chalking up more than 30% of the local prestressing market annually. We are very much involved in design and build construction for both building and civil engineering projects. With in house design capabilities, and backed by a strong technical support department, UTRACON is very much regarded by general contractors as being a valued and trusted construction partner, which is able to provide engineering solutions to their construction needs.

Positions Available:

Position 1 :

DESIGN / DETAILING ASST ENGINEER / ENGINEER

Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Proficient in Autocad (2D/3D) Experience in steel structure detailing / drafting will be an added advantage Knowledge of general construction method Eager to learn and hardworking Work location in Singapore.

Position 2 :

STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering Able to handle reinforced concrete / post tensioning design Previous work experience in an engineering consultant firm would be an advantage. Computer literate e.g. AUTOCAD and Microsoft. Self motivated Fresh university graduates with potential may be considered. Work location in Singapore.

Position 3 :

GEOTECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering Able to handle geotechnical / temporary steel-work design / Temporary Earth Retaining Structure (TERS) Computer literate e.g. AUTOCAD and Microsoft. Self motivated Fresh university graduates with potential may be considered. Work location in Singapore.

Position 4 :

PROJECT MANAGER, ROAD MAINTENANCE

Requirements: PE Board or BCA (S’pore) recognized Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline. Minimum 3 years experience in Singapore. Preferable with driving license. Work location in Singapore.

Position 5 :

SITE ENGINEER

Requirements: PE Board or BCA (S’pore) recognized Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline. Relevant experience preferred. However, fresh graduates with potential are welcome. Preferable with driving license. Work location in Singapore.
